JOGINI WATERFALL - MANALI (HIMACHAL PRADESH)



Jogini Waterfall is located about 3 kilometres away from the busting town of the Beautiful spectacle Valley of Manali and around 2 kilometres away from the famous religious temple Vashisht Temple. Jogini Waterfall cascading from a height of 160 feet which may make someone flabbergasted around the natural habitat. The trekkers are enchanted as they cross several smaller streams with a dazzling view of the River Beas and the snow dusted peaks of Rohtang. It is among the most popular places visited by tourists every year. 

Jogini Waterfall is situated on the Northern Edge of Vashisht Village and mark the Village Boundary. The waterfall cascades down from a height of around 150 meters through Multiple levels. 

Jogini Mata Temple is located at the base of the waterfall. It is sacred site to the surrounding villages. The local brings their children for their first tonsure here. Trek Route passes through a narrow lane adjacent to Vashisht Temple and goes through apple orchards, tall pine trees and small water streams on the way are also remarkable which makes this places visited mostly among adventure ethusiasts. This nice gentle trek can be done around 3-4 hours from Vashisht Temple.

The captivating restaurant on the route serving local snacks with a piping hot cup of Chai. However, this region is also also famous among couples, and recreational activities and favourite picnic spot among tourists.

WHEN TO VISIT

The best time to visit Jogini Waterfall is during the Summer Season between March and May While in Winters Between October to February We don't recommend you to visit Jogini Waterfall during monsoon as the due to land slides and heavy rain fall.

1. ROHTANG PASS - Located at a distance of about 51 Kilometres from Manali, Rohtang Pass can be reached only and only by roads. Popular among adventure ethusiasts and adventure seekers. 

2.  MANU TEMPLE - Manu temple in old Manali dedicated to the god who was acknowledged to be the creator of this world. In fact, Some lengends rely heavily on the fact that the present day temple is exact place where sage Manu meditate regularly.

3. GAURI SHANKAR TEMPLE - It is situated below the castle of Naggar in Naggar Village. At present it is one of the most oldest temple in the world. Dedicated to Lord Shiva and one of the best places to visit while your stay in Kullu Manali.

4. SIYALI MAHADEV TEMPLE - Located at a distance of about 2 kilometres away from the Manali Bus Station, Siyali Mahadev Temple is one of the most oldest shrine in the Siyal Area of Manali , dedicated to Lord Shiva.
