Lying on the banks of River Yamuna is the spiritual and sacred place Mathura, that impresses the tourists from far and wide with its unparalleled charm and aura. 1. SHRI KRISHNA JANAMSTHAN TEMPLE


Shri Krishna Janamsthan Temple is located in the holy city of Mathura, Uttarpradesh. It is built around the prision cell in which Lord Krishna Parents, Mata Devaki and Vasudeva were imprisoned by his devil uncle Kansa. The temple is of great significance for the Hindus as it beleived to be the birthplace of lord Krishna. 2. DWARKADHISH TEMPLE


The Dwarkadhish Temple touted as one of the holiest temple in Mathura. Built in 1814, the temple is relatively new the temple is dedicated to Lord Dwarkadheesh , a form of Lord Krishna know as Dwarkanath, depict in a black marble idol. Situated within the perimeter of city holy gate, near the ghats of Yamuna River and is surrounded by lots of interesting activities thousands of devotees arrive here every day to pay their obeisance. 


3. GITA MANDIR


Located on the Vrindavan, the famous Birla Mandir. It is prominent Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Lakshmi Narayan an avatar of Vishnu. The architecture of the temple speaks of its magnificence and exquisite carving and painting of its grandeur.

The Mathura Birla Mandir was built by Jugal Kishore Birla in memory of his parents and the entire Bhagvad Gita which is inscribe on the pillars of the temple. The entire of Gita Mandir is maintained well to serve a serene ambience to the pilgrims. 


4. SHRI RADHA VALLABH MANDIR


Situated on the Gotam Nagar on the cliff near Bankey Bihari Temple is the Radhe Vallabh Mandir, one of the seven temples of Thakur of Vrindavan. The temple is the epitome of the sacred and divine love of Radha and Krishna. This temple stands out due to its sticking architecture and magnificent decor. Constructed in 1585, the Radha Vallabh Mandir is one of the oldest and long living temples, majesting built using red sandstone at a time when they were used for building and royal forts. The wall of the temple is 10 feet thick and are pierced in 2 stages. The RADHA VALLABH MANDIR is decked up for celebration on the birth anniversary of Sri Harivansh Chandra Mahaprabhu as well as on the Radha Ashtami. 5. BHUTESHWAR MAHADEV TEMPLE


Bhuteshwar Mahadev Temple is reveared Hindu Temple situated in Garravkendra Mathura dedicated to Lord Shiva, also known as Bhuteshwar mandir it is also a Shaktipeeth where the ringlet of Mata Sati Fell after her body was destroyed. Considered as one of the oldest temple, the Bhuteshwar mandir also house the Patel Devi Cave. The goddess worshiped by King Kansa. 


6. RADHA KUND 


Situated near Govardhan Hill in the small town in Mathura is one of the holiest place in Braja- the Radha Kund And Shyam Kund. The two Holy water tanks lying next to each other are considered to be the Supreme of all holy places, containing pure and sacred water also known to contain magical properties to heal for conception. The origin of Radha Kund town dates back to the days of Radha and Krishna and stand as an epitome of love and happily spent times. 


7. POTARA KUND 

POTARA KUND is one of the four kunds in Mathura and is a water pond where baby clothes of Lord Krishna were washed in his childhood. The water tank is made up in red sandstone and has steps to descend inside. The place is popular tourist spot and is thronged by pilgrims. The red sandstone structure if an important sight for the pilgrims visiting Mathura. 


8. GOPESHWAR MAHADEV TEMPLE

GOPESHWAR MAHADEV TEMPLE is one of the oldest temple in Vrindavan, located in close vicinity to the holy Yamuna River. The temple is reversed for Shiva Linga which was established here by the great-grandson of Lord Krishna, Vrajanabha. Thousands of devotees visit the shrine in Vrindavan to worship Lord Shiva as this temple is one of the few in town that is associated with Shiva. Located near Vamshivat and anyone who wishes to explore the bliss of Raas Leela must visit the temple and prey to GOPESHWAR for inducing him into Sakhibhav. 


9. BARSANA 


Barsana is a historical place located in the district of Mathura at Uttarpradesh, India. The town nicknamed as the Birthplace of Radharani as the Hindu goddess Radha ( Shri Krishna's Consort) was born in this city. Barsana is also called as Vrishabhanupura, named after the founder Vrishabhanu Maharaj, who is the father of Shri Radha. 


10. SHRI BANKE BIHARI MANDIR 


Dedicated to lord Krishna, Banke Bihari Temple is a Holi edifice of worship and stands among the most spectacular Vrindavan tourists place. Integrated in 1854, the temple homes a grand collection of Lord Krishna idols and painting along with his acquisitance. The temple depict various phases of Lord Krishna's Life Beginning from the childhood when he was called Namd Gopal to his older days. 11. PREM MANDIR 



Imbued with elegance and grandeur, the Prem Mandir is a massive temple that was shaped by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Maharaj in the year 2001. Also known as the temple of love dedicated to Radha Krishna as well as Sita Ram. The temple is envelope with piousness and serenity. This newly constructed temple is the most beautiful in the entire Brij Area and is crowded with devotees during the time of Aarti. Various scenes from Krishna's Life like raising the Govardhan Mountain, have been depicted on the periphery of the Prem Mandir. 12. RADHA RAMAN TEMPLE


Located about 2 kilometres from the Vrindavan Railway Station is one of the most revered early modern Hindu Temple in Vrindavan this temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna who is considered to be as Radha Raman, meaning one who gives pleasure to Radha. The temple is known to have the original Shaligram Deity and has a mystical smile on his face. The Radha Raman Temple complex also has the samadhi of Gopal Bhatta, located right next to the appearance place of Radha Raman. It holds importance amoung the followers of Gaudiya Vaishnavism. 


13. ISKCON TEMPLE VRINDAVAN


Also known as Sri Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir, ISKCON Vrindavan is a dream fulfilled of Swami Prabhupada who wished to build a temple for brother Krishna And Balaram in the holy city where they played centuries ago. Located in the Raman Reti Area of Vrindavan. The three altas at ISKCON Vrindavan are the seats of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai, Shri Krishna and Balaram and Sri Sri Radha Shyamasundara along with Lalita and Vishakha. The presiding deity of the temple however is Lord Balaram. A one of the must place to visit in Vrindavan. 


14. SHREE RANG NATH JI


One of the most visited Vrindavan tourists place, it is an imposing holy destination with a district architectural design. Spread in an enormous piece of land, the temple is one of the largest in Vrindavan with ancient decor and homes various columns pillars and even lake. The temple is dedicated to the 8th century Vaishnava saint, Lord Sri Goda Ranagamannar. Built in 1851, the place still stands tall and has a major impact on the history of the city. 



15. SEVA KUNJ 


Seva Kunj illustrates the mesmerising tale of Radha Krishna who used to visit this place and spend hours together. A large dome shaped temple, Seva Kunj is decorated with various painting of Lord Krishna and Radha on the walls. Open only during the day, the gates of seva Kunj are closed after sunset. Upon entry, visitors gaze on the Lalit Kunj and Nikunj Temple that is found at the centre of the temple.

17. SRI SRI RADHA GOKULNANDA TEMPLE


Situated between Keshi Ghar and Radha Raman Temple in Vrindavan, Radha Gokulnanda Temple was created by Lokanath Goswami and contain idols of Radha Vinoda, Radha Gokulnanda and Lord Chaitanya. The Radha Gokulnanda Temple houses a Govardhan- Shila that was given by lord Chaitanya to Raghunath Dasa Goswami. This Shila bears the thumbprint of Lord Chaitanya. Originally, there was no Deity of Radharani in this temple. Jahnava Devi had a deity of Radha made in Jagannath Puri and installed next to Radha Vinoda.
