BHULLA TAL - LANSDOWNE (UTTRAKHAND)



Bhulla Tal located at a distance of about 3kms from Lansdowne, Bhulla tal is a small artificial lake situated in the town of Lansdowne. Created and maintained by Indian Army. You will have ample space to sit and eat food or snacks. Witness the beauty of calm waters by visiting the Bhulla Tal its name simple means Younger brother which is being derived from Garhwali Language. The lake is dedicated to the Garhwali youth of Garhwal Rifles, the ones who helped in constructing it. 

It is an ideal spot and can be visited to enjoy the tranquility of nature, once you are here you can indulge in boating as well. The boating rides are about 15-20 minutes. The lake flaunts a cool ambience and serene surrounding for tourists to stay engrossed in its enchanting beauty.

At the entrance to the Lake is a plant nursery which is followed by an iron bridge that runs across it. This place is best savouries in solitude, feelings the freshness of the breeze , listening to the angelic sounds of birds and gazing at the endless sky while lying on the lush-greens.

The distance of Bhulla Tal to Jolly Grant Airport is about 115.5 kms while The distance of Bhulla Tal to Kotdwar Railway station is 43.4 kms.

Best time to visit Bhulla Tal is in winter where you will also be able to enjoy the weather conditions of Lansdowne and be able to adore the beauty of Bhulla Tal. While in Summers and Monsoon season you will feel humidity.
