TIBETAN MONASTERY - MAJNU KA TILA (NEW DELHI)

Majnu Ka Tila is located at the bank of Yamuna River established in 1950. If you are a fan of Tibetan Food , or are in search of some Chinese/trade ceased products like apparel, shoes, confectioneries, or wish to get into a zen mode in life seeking peace and happiness, this place is where you need to go and pay a visit.

You go through the narrow lane on the right of the monastery and see ladies makes sausage in their little stalls.as you walk deeper, you will reach a few shops on the street selling badges, wishing flags, incense sticks, chanting beads, bracelets and CDs and DVDs of Chinese and Tibetan Movie and Music. There are also a few very good cafes which do serve good Tibetan Food.

1. Tibetan Market And Shopping - You will get various street shops that sells everything. You can buy jewellery, jeans , clothes ,bags and shoes there.

2. Majnu Ka Tila Gurudwara -  Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji stayed here during his visit to Delhi. Majnu ka Tila Gurudwara stands a top of a small mound on the banks of Yamuna River.

3. Food - Enjoy street food as well as traditional food there. You will get a variety of Tibetan, Chinese, Korean and English food there. Must a place to visit for food lovers.
