KAINCHI DHAM BABA NEEM KAROLI ASHRAM - NAINITAL (UTTRAKHAND)

Kainchi Dham is a Hanuman Temple And Ashram which is established in 1960s by saint Neem Karoli Baba . It's a holy place for devotees , You can feel the presence of Hanuman Ji and Neem Karoli Baba. Surrounded by hills and tress and river flowing besides it , the scenic location adds to the beauty of the place. Baba Ji was a yogi , saintly being and a devotee of the Hindu deity Hanuman Ji. 

Every Year A Fair is organised on Neem Karoli Baba's birthday,15th June which is highly visited by both locals and tourists. Located at a height of 1400 meters above sea level. A divine place to visit and spend time in prayer and worship lord Hanuman and be in peace. A very pure and holy place this place is associated with Baba Ji.

In Year 1973 Steve Jobs, Ex-CEO of Apple Inc, visited the temple came to India looking for a place where he could find answers to his questions and attain the ultimate truth of life , Nirvana and Prajna. Jobs meditated here and went back spirituality enlightened later on Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook also came here to find peace and enlightenment. A visit to kainchi Dham Ashram is a must, not only for staunch devotees of Maharaj Ji but for any and everyone who wish to spend a day in peace and silence.

The ashram gets its name corresponding to its location which makes a scissors like shape between two hills between which the ashram is located cut and cross each other. Neem Karoli Baba took samadhi in the year 1973.

THINGS TO DO IN KAINCHI DHAM

Shop at the local market of Bhowali for some local art and craft and some of the choicest fruit juices made up all by local people. Visit the Shyamkhet Tea Garden just a few kilometres away from the city centre, Bhowali. Around 14kms away from Bhowali there is a place called Ramgarh known for its fruit orchards. You can also visit to Ranikhet.

One can reach easily by taxi or bus from Nainital To Almora . This place is located at 17 km from Nainital. Nearest Railhead is Kathgodam which is about 37 km away from here. Nearest airport is Pantnagar Airport which is 71 km away from here .
