ISKCON TEMPLE VRINDAVAN - (UTTARPRADESH)

ISKCON Vrindavan Temple as known as Shri Shri Krishna Balaram Temple , ISKCON Vrindavan is a dream fulfilled by Swami Prabhupada (The Founder-acharya of ISKCON) who wished to build a temple for the brothers - Krishna and Balaram , in the same holy city where they both uses to play and live their childhood several centuries ago.

Located in Gaudiya Vaishnavism temple which is located in the city of Vrindavan , Mathura District , State Uttarpradesh. The other deities of temple are Radhakrishna and Gauranga Nityanand. The temple was inaugurated in 1977.

ISKCON TEMPLE has become the major attraction in the city and is thronged by devotees from All Over The World. People visiting the divine temple are spellbound by the Aarti and Bhagavadgita Classes held every day here. 

The Deities of the Temple are Krishna And Balaram at the central alter. On the right alter are Radhakrishna with Gopi , Lalita and vishakha. 

On the left alter is a Murti of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu with Nityananda and of Bhaktilivedanta Swami Prabhupada and his Spiritual teacher Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura.

 The temple is made up of Pure white marble which is so eye-catching and make you feel so satisfied. You can feel the presence of all mighty God Shri Krishna and Radha Rani. You will also see a lot of devotees coming in the temple to take the blessings from all over the world. You will find devotees chanting there to Lord Krishna.

The three altars at ISKCON VRINDAVAN are the seats of Sri Sri Gauri Nitai, Shri Krishna and Balram and Sri Sri Radha Shyamasundara along with Lalita and Vishakha.

ISKCON VRINDAVAN GUESTHOUSE 

There is a guesthouse named ISKCON guesthouse inside the temple campus for accomodation. They provide both AC and non - AC rooms with clean , peaceful and satvik stay facilities for norminal price. 

The rooms are spacious with attached toilets with geyser. The Govinda Restaurant is on the ground floor of the Guest House where you can have your meals at reasonable price.

There are also a lot of Dharamshala , Hotels where You can also Stay. Locals of Vrindavan are kind and Friendly with Tourists also.

HOW TO REACH ISKCON TEMPLE 

By Road - You can easily reach there by Taxi, bus and car. Roads are wide and good.

By Air - Vrindavan falls under the state of uttarpradesh which is well connected by Airports.

By Railway - nearest railway station is Mathura station from where Vrindavan is about 11.9km away. Taxis and buses are easily available.
